On the left, a portrait of the stadholder is held high by Mercury and angels, in front of the History and Time. In the air different emblems and the coats of arms of the Republic and of William IV. Centrally, the kneeling Dutch Virgin hands over the peace trace to the hereditary stadtholder. On the sheet under the plate the sentence print explanation in the legend 1-17.
