Allegory of the restoration of Stadholder William V in 1787. In the Oranjeboom hang in medallions the portraits of the stadholder, his consort and children and (on the tribe) those of his ancestors. The tree is protected by the Prussian eagle. At the top left the All-Seeing Eye. To the left of the tree is the Duke of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel in the form of Mars, on the right Bentinck of Rhoon as the Republic.
