Red, in the middle the coat of arms of Baden, covered by royal crown, surrounded by a white, red and black decorated band. The whole is held by two griffins (averted on the escape side), and is placed on a trophy of banners, cannons, etc.; behind the crown a green forest shed, behind which sun rays and a cloud part. In the foreground there is a cross-shaped order sign diagonally on the escape side. Parade side: instead of baden coat of arms the coat of arms of the Republic. The oval band around it is blue on which: CONCORDIA RES PARVAE CRESCUNT, covered by a crown with three beaded brackets and red hat. On both sides, a passing lion. The whole is placed on a trophy of banners, drums, cannons, bullets, rifles etc. In the background a forest shed with sun rays and clouds as the front.
