Large, bell-shaped bowl of porcelain, painted in underglaze blue. On the outside wall four groups of four children playing in a landscape, separated by a tree. Above the foot a band with ruyi motifs. At the bottom a medallion with four children playing sitting around a table in a fenced garden. Marked on the underside with emperor Jiajing's six-character mark in a double circle. On the underside two old labels with 'Helsinki/ 1956/ Helsingfors/ 195' and 'Kunst/ Industri/ Museet/ 430/ Kobenhavn/ 1950'. A crack in the edge. Ming porcelain in blue and white.
