Porcelain bowl. Scalloped edge, along which rocaille ornament in relief and decorated in gold with, among other things, leaf garlands. On the shelf in grisaille the depiction: 'King KAREL the Simple confirms DIRK den I. in't Graaflyk rule over HOLLAND' (inscription in brown on back) after a print in Jan Wagenaar's Vaderlandsche Historie (Il, 1782, opposite p. 108 ). Two laurel wreaths in gold around the scene.
