Man in frak and yellow knee pants, leaning on a wall. According to the accompanying text, the man is fashionable with his reddish-brown frak, a color that is fashionable in the fall of 1786. The jacket has a lining of the same color and the edges are finished with white trim 'formant le passe-poil' (the latter is described as a refined modernity: Marie-Jes: help... what exactly is meant here ?)) With mother-of-pearl buttons. Pink waistcoat and culot from Casimir. Gray silk stockings and shoes with buckles. Two watches on are.... Gloves of chamois; walking stick made of bamboo.
