At the centre of the magazine is Hendrik Hondius' copy after the print 'Beggar's Family' by Lucas van Leyden, also known as Uilenspiegel. A beggar's family on the way, the man carries a bishop's miter, plays on a bagpipes and draahs two children in a hive on his back; the little boy in front has an owl on his shoulder. In this second state of the print, the main character wears a bishop's mitre and there are numbers 1-7 among the persons in the performance.
