Cartoon on the old and the young pretender and the Second Jacobite Revolt of 1745-1746. In a town square in front of the Palace of Whitehall, the old pretender James Francis Edward scratches his head and points to his son the young picture-dweller Charles Edward Stuart who is attacked by English dogs, a reference to his failed attempts to restore Stuart's house to the throne.
