In the standing display cases (designed by P.J.H. Cuypers) on the side of the courtyard is the porcelain. The first display case contains a small collection of Dutch porcelain. The further cabinets and the first wall cabinets the Chinese and Japanese porcelain. Room 203, porcelain room, photo from series of photos (nos 117 to 128). In 1928 the 'Ceramiekzaal' was renamed 'Gothic Hall'. According to caption, the photo dates from 1926 (a single photo from the series dates from 1927). the room is photographed from the northeast, a view of the south wall with large windows on the western courtyard. In this south aisle there is now an exhibition space of the print room (M 128).
