The object consists of eighteen parts, which are cast, turned or cimated: ten weights, the container and the lid (which together form the house), a hinge, a closing bracket, two handlebar inserts, the handle and a loose ring arranged under the knob. The weights, tray and lid have the center point on the inside, and are decorated with rings on the inside and outside. The house has narrow punched ribs on the outside. The intermediate surfaces of the wall of the house have a punched decoration composed of arches and in the middle, among other things, a smashed ornament of women's heads from the side. The hinges and handles are riveted. The hinge ends on the wall of the house in a three-pass and extends on the lid into two profiled attachment parts, which rise towards the pivot point at an acute angle. In between, the button of the handle should fit. The locking bracket is more or less profiled in a similar way and can be secured against the wall of the house. The hengselaanzetten have profiled button shape. The handle has a simple button in the middle (with a connecting loose ring) and on either side two stylized animal heads. On the lid the struck marks GS above a crossed arrow and key, a hand between the letters I and A. Furthermore, the number 8 and the year 1659 and a hand. On the inside of the lid a letter A, which is applied with three strokes. In the bottom of the box the number 4, the hand between the letters I and A, and a hand. At the bottom of the first weight the figure I (= 1 pound) and the marks mentioned above. These also occur on the third weight. On the fourth to the sixth weight a hand between the letters I and A, a hand and E. The seventh weight has a Gothic-like I in the bottom, the eighth and ninth weight and the valve have no struck signs. The right hengselaanzet is torn and bent.
