Coat of arms with Belgian, Javanese and Dutchman, 1826, anonymous, 1826 Canvas Print
Allegory with a coat of arms, depicting an original American family, the man and woman dressed in skirt and with feathering, above it a plant with fruit (orange?), next to which a Belgian and a Dutchman shake hands, while a Javanese stands behind the shield and puts his hands on the arms of both men. At the bottom a banderol without text. Possibly an allegory on the appointment of Du Bus de Gisignies as Commissioner-General of the East Indies, 3 February 1826.
