Corner of a room with various objects, including sculptures, majolica, a choir gate and furniture, c. 1961 Canvas Print
Between 1958 and 1962, several major renovations were carried out, including those of the Night Watch Room, the Hall of Fame, the Western Courtyard and the Passage. In 1960/61 there were works in the Italian hall. In the photo, the suspended ceiling with skylight under the original cove frame and light hood is visible. The room has a hard stone and marble floor. On the right the oksaal (choir separation), coming from the church in Helvoirt. To the left of it in the corner two painted wooden statues from an Annunciation group, Mary (r) and an angel, made by Francesco di Valdambrino. In the middle a candelabra by Andrea del Verrocchio.
