The Israelites are moving over the dried-up Jordan. The priests stand with the ark of the covenant in the middle of the Jordan, behind it the water of the river forms a dam. On the left, men take a stone on their shoulder, one for each tribe of Israel. In the background is a pile of stones in the middle of the Jordaan, as a memorial to the event. At the bottom a reference to the Bible text in Joz. 3 and 4. The print is part of an album.
