The iron hilt is chiseled in several places in bas-relief with rows of pikemen, all seen from behind, and further with rows of riders with turbans in high relief and dog heads; the butt plate is chiseled at the bottom in high relief with horsemen and pikemen in front of a fortress or city gate with the year 1662 on it; the wooden handle is wound with twisted iron wire and has a braided grip ring on both sides. The blade with colichemarde shape is two-cut, has a diamond-shaped cross-section and is etched with arabesques.
