Standing woman, to the left, with dark curly hair on the forehead and along either side of the face over which a folded hat that is covered by a hat with a back-slapped edge of scalloped lace. Dressed in a gown consisting of a short body with low straight neck cut, high waist, half-length straight sleeves and 7/8 lower sleeves, on a long, spacious skirt slightly dragging on the floor. In the neckline a neckerchief trimmed with a narrow strip (lace?), over which a double-folded neckerchief trimmed with a narrow strip of scalloped lace. This last neckerchief is pinned shut in the neck. In the middle of the chest a bow. Double, knocked back cuffs trimmed with lace. Long, unadorned gloves. A small pair of scissors hangs with a large loop at the waist (?). No 22 from the series Ornatus Muliebris Anglicanus.
