Frame, Johannes Hannart, c. 1690 - c. 1700 Canvas Print
Mirror or picture frame, glued with palm and ebony on an oak core. The middle part of the frame consists of a wide border with vine leaves with grape bunches. At the top a broken volute above which a cartouche with initials and on both sides eagles holding a fesen in the beaver's bee. At the bottom a smaller fession and a cartouche with a swan flying out of the water, two cupids and a castle. Pendant with signature, to be read as that of Jan Hanart, present in the collection of I.Untermayer
