Gilded and painted frame in Gothic style, c. 1800 - c. 1899 Canvas Print
Gilded and painted frame in Gothic style with afzaat on the bottom line. The wall crown consists of a gilded bead. The bottom is painted hollow and red. After this bottom follows a gilded pilaster to both styles, with a corinthian volute. The pilasters continue over the top line. This is followed by a black painted hollow profile. The inner edge is gilded. The gold-plated insert is smooth and descending. The list has a lip connection. On the sole there are two screw eyes for vertical suspension, in addition, there are some holes that may have served for suspension systems in the same direction. The condition of the list is moderate. The gilding and paint is sleazy. The left style has two bandages to hold the whole thing together. Remnants of cover paper are visible on the sole.
