A reclining Japanese woman has sexual intercourse with a Dutch man, ca. 1800. The woman's kimono leaves the lower body and left leg uncovered. The man wears a long cloak. His lower body is also uncovered. He has long, pointed fingernails. His face is used to the left in three-quarters of a profile and he sticks out his tongue. On the head he wears a three-sided stitch. He has medium length, curly head and beard hair and heavy eyebrows. A curtain is pushed to the left against the frame edge. On the right is a small table with an incense barrel. Underneath is a described envelope. Outside the frame edge on the left is a rocky hill with coniferous tree.
