One-sided printed assignat; flat, bounded at top and sides by bands divided into compartments with bladerornament and inscriptions; in the central plane: inscription "République Française. / Assignat de cinquante livres / De la Création du 14. Dec. 1792 l'An premier de la République / Hypothèque sur les Domaines Nationaux." above woman with ship's rudder in left hand and with right hand holding a wreath above her standing rooster, sitting on a pedestal with a Phrygian hat decorated between two rod bundles; to the right of pedestal: signature, left relief stamp: Herkules with club raised above head kills seven-headed Hydria; the text "FAUX / UTRECHT" has been printed three times over presentation. Reverse: nine regular inscriptions.
