Standing woman dressed in a gown of 'velour simulé', topped with a rouleaux and satin bead. On the head a hat of plain velvet, decorated with ostrich feathers. Further accessories: earring in the right ear, fichu of lace, flat shoes with bows. The print is part of the fashion magazine Journal des Dames et des Modes, published by Pierre de la Mésangère, Paris, 1797-1839.
