Two women, one of whom is seen on the back, in the same gown. Gown of 'moiré' decorated with serrated bands of satin trimmed with Blonde (bobbin lace). Short puff sleeves. 'Coeffure' designed by Mr Hyppolite. Accessory notes: earrings, necklace, impeller, gloves, bracelets on both wrists, scarf trimmed with fringes. The print is part of the fashion magazine Journal des Dames et des Modes, published by Pierre de la Mésangère, Paris, 1797-1839.
