komfoor, belonging to deck shell, decorated with fillet edges, Fa. Bennewitz and Bonebakker, 1816 Canvas Print
The two rectangular compresses (C and E) with curved sides and rounded corners rest on four printed bulb legs, the lower half of which is made of ebony. On the short sides of the lower edge, the curling supports of the coil-shaped handles rise. Fillet edges run along the lower and upper edges of the body's straight wall. On the komfoor is a loose plate that has an oval deepened midfield. In it is a hole pattern in the shape of a flower. On the inside of the bowl there is a removable tin burner. The two oval bowls (B and D) have a rectangular, wide, flat edge with rounded corners, which is decorated with a fillet edge. The lids consist of a convex lower and a concave upper, between which the separation is marked by a fillet edge. The lid is crowned by a handle in the form of two leaf twigs with acorns, which are twisted around each other in the middle. (Catalogue Amsterdam Gold and Silver, catalogue number 189)
