Porcelain lidded vase on a high, speiding base, ending in a square pedestal. The abdomen is cylindrical, with the upper part indenting slightly and provided with two dolphin-shaped ears. The abdomen runs round to the foot and is decorated with modeled leaf vines in cannelures. Painted on the glaze in blue, red, pink, green, yellow, purple, black and gold. On the wide cylinder of the belly in grisaille on one side a representation with a building bearing the coat of arms of the dauphin and the inscription 'SPES ET AMOR'. To the right of this a putto with Minevra and a second putto, which drags minerva's shield away with a flower vine towards a vase on a pedestal. The other depiction with putti scooping coal in a (porcelain?) oven and a putto that models a woman's image. The narrow part of the abdomen with the coat of arms of the dauphin or a crowned double L in a medallion surrounded by leaf vines between which chinoiseries, english and objects. The neck with a decorative band. The lid has the shape of the crown of the dauphin and is attached to the vase.
