Likeness of the bad winegrowers, Hans Collaert (I), 1646 Canvas Print
In a fenced vineyard, winegrowers kill the servants of the owner of the vineyard. The servants came to collect the part of the harvest to which the owner was entitled. If his servants do not return, the owner decides to send his son. His son is thrown out of the vineyard by the tenants in the foreground and murdered. Below the performance a reference in Latin to the Bible text in Luc. 20:9. This print is part of an album.
