Locomotive with trailers on a pedestal, anonymous, 1878 - 1890 Canvas Print

On a brick base there is a steam locomotive with a tender for water and fuel and a wagon. Below that is carved in stone: 'S.&D.R. No. 1. 1825.'. This refers to the Locomotion No. 1., the first locomotive to run on the stockton and darlington railway (S.&D.R.) route and was built by George Stephenson (1781-1848). Part of Travel Album European Cities, presumably Swedish.
