Model of an oil cap, consisting of a funnel with lid, mounted on a wooden pedestal. A cleaning cotton bracket is fitted in the funnel. The cleaning cotton ensures that the oil, with which the funnel is filled, leaves evenly through the pipe under the funnel. The oil cap is used to lubricate the cushion blocks of different moving parts of a steam engine. This particular model was used for landscape parts. Scale 1:1 (derived).
