On the right, man, tormented by the personifications of Death, Sin, and Despair, turns to God, who appears in a cloud with open arms and calls Man with his grace. Under both performances a four-line verse in Lower Dutch and a four-line text in Latin. Number 17 and 18 from a reformatory series about the sinfulness and justification of man.
