The chimney mantle of oak, decorated with ebony and other woods, resting on two consoles carried by sandstone gray-painted caryides on a pedestal. The mantle frieze has an archway in the middle and at the corners, in which an obelisk of satin wood on pedestal crowned with a shadowed sphere. The arched racks are flanked by flat pilasters with cannelures and decorated with palm-wood diamond heads and black-oak buckles with black drippers. The horizontal panels between the arched positions have cornissingen with black-oak moresken as the middle piece. The main frame is articulated by consoles with animal masks, which are placed above the pilaster and the far protruding cornice supports. The sides each have one landscape panel.
