Map of the fortifications around the city of Mons (Mons) in Hainaut, conquered by the French army in 1691. Part of the seventh volume (1696) of the print work in which the eight volumes of Les forces de l'Europe were collected, published between 1693-1697. The print consists of 175 plates with plans (from Sébastien Le Prestre, Seigneur de Vauban) of renowned strong cities and fortresses in the Nine Years' War. Title and inscriptions in French.
