At the top left a two-line poem with a handwriting by the surveyor below. At the top in the middle the coat of arms of the States-General. At the top right a cartouche with the second title. At the bottom left a canvas hanging between two columns with a verse entitled 'Boeren Clacht over de Water-Wolf'. On the tympanum a lion that defeats a wolf, at the bottom of the columns a surveyor (left) and the personification of the Hope (right).
