A needle-shaped monument on the occasion of three centuries of Reformation in 1817 with the bust of church reformer Martin Luther. The bust of Luther is crowned with a laurel wreath by Faam. Next to the monument is the Protestant Faith, with a flame on the head, the works of Luther under her arm. She points upwards and tramples a snake, papers and a shield with the effigy of Pope Leo X. On the right, putti are busy with wreaths of honour at the portrait of reformer Philipp Melanchthon.
