Men's haori with Yuranosuke at the Ichiriki tea house, anonymous, 1920 - 1940 Canvas Print
Haori for a man with a decoration on the lining of a man standing with a fan in front of his face in the garden of a house, where behind the porch can be seen a room with a folding screen with waves and a hanging scroll painting with a landscape, a lantern hanging from the roof. The double-comma family crest on the fan identifies the man as Yuranosuke, the leader of the 47 masterless samurai, who will receive a letter at the Ichiriki teahouse about his rival Morono. Grey-black silk with brocade woven decoration. See also AK-RAK-2009-3-54.
