Model of a Carriage for a 4-Pounder Gun, Jochem Pietersz. Asmus (possibly), 1800 Canvas Print

Model of an affuit for a 4-pound cannon for use on land and on a ship; the loop itself is missing, as well as some attributes. The central body consists of two cheeks connected by a long soleplate and a calf. The stel wedge runs in a groove in the soleplate, where it cannot be lifted; at the bottom of the wedge, a rack is mounted so that the wedge is moved forwards and backwards with a crank with a screw-without-end. In the composition of field spout, the cheeks are extended backwards with a tail, which is fastened with braces, with a spindle hole. An axle body is slid through the front cheeks, on which two large wheels are placed. To transform it into a ship's spout, tail, axle body and wheels are removed and the body is placed on a small bottom. This lower barge consists of two low cheeks connected by a vertical calf and the shaft bodies, which are attached to the cheeks with removable braces. The wooden wheels are double and the rear wheels are smaller than the front wheels. Scale 1:6 (Obrene).
