Model of a Marker Waterschip, anonymous, c. 1850 - c. 1870 Canvas Print

Testified model of a Marker watership, on standard. It's a smooth-edged pointed gatter with high, almost vertical stern, and straight falling stern. Wide rudder with wooden helmet wood. There is one deck with a deck structure, which covers the cabin: the cabin is fully shelled with galley, cages and cupboards. The superstructure is built over seams and of the curved shape that is so characteristic of ships of this type, and has a small chimney. For this build-up is a frying pill; furthermore, a roasting pill in the bow, one in the stern and three more small roasting pills on the aft deck. The zeeg rises sharply forward. The hull shape is round with a keel. The model is rigged with a harness, carrying mainsail and jib.
