Model of Lumley’s Patent Rudder, anonymous, anonymous, 1865 Canvas Print
Model of a rudder, rudder stems and parts of the keel, rear apostles and two decks, on a ground board. It was once poorly restored. The stern has a heel and four stirrings, the rudder king is round and continues to the upper deck, where there is a short stirring pin. The rudder blade is divided vertically into two pieces, the rear part with four stirrings attached to the front. Because the rear blade is coupled to the rudder stems with an S-shaped hinge, it expands extra far when the rudder is rotated. The hinge is attached to the rudder stems with a long pin, which can be removed. A degree arch is scratched into the ground shelf.
