The cast round mortar widens upwards, has a high cantilevered profiled edge and a flared profiled foot. On the edge in Latin majuskels the inscription HERMAN TOENNISSZ EN SIN HVISFROV ANo 1586 with punctuation consisting of a rhombus (six times) and of two rhombuses. The upper frieze has a shield with a house mark (a 1 with the letter X joined twice at the bottom), a wound pearl and cord border, hanging stylized vine leaves and stylized acanthus leaves. The bottom frieze has three times the motif of a round shield between a winged male and a female tenant, whose tail, decorated with a nodus, changes into pediceled flowers. Below a border of stylized acanthus leaves. The foot is decorated with a pearl rim. The ears are shaped like dragons with hind legs.
