Napkin of linen damask with James II of England. Midfield: The symmetrically doubled pattern shows two scenes from bottom to top; 1 Large crowned coat of arms of Great Britain and Ireland, surrounded by the garter, on which HONI SOIT QUI MAL MAL Y PANSE, and on which hangs the order sign of St. George. Below that a text binding with DIEU ET MON DROIT. 2 James was seated on a horse turned to the middle, galloping, with a low along wig, lace jabot from after 1670 and marshal's staff. Above the horse's head the crowned letter I in a laurel wreath. Above James a laurel wreath, held by a floating angel with trumpet. Above it, within a stretched leaf branch, IACOBUS II D G MAG BRITTANNIAE FRAN ET HIBERNIAE REX FIDEI DEFENSOR. Standing and lying edges: trophies; outside of that block edge.
