Part of a couple. The lock is engraved with leaf vines, a winged figure and a signature. The barrel is engraved with leaf vines and the number 6; the tromp edge is marked with the letters S[..] MON. The solid ivory flask is cut with edges and acanthus leaves and, after a secretion of ebony and ivory, ends in a flask bud in the shape of a man's head with a mustache and a laurel wreath. The iron fittings include a screw plate with an ajour machined extension in the form of entangled hoses.
