Panels reticella merged into a 'collar' with two akers, anonymous, c. 1880 - c. 1899 Canvas Print
Panels reticella merged into a 'collar'. Model: a fan-shaped part, trimmed with punto in aria points, connected to both rectangular brisket by means of an openwork insert. In the fan-shaped part there are a number of folds and folds. The two narrow straps, which are attached to the collar, do not appear to have a function. Two round woven cords with akertjes (knotted ornaments) are attached to the insert by means of trensjes. Some of the open hems, which are located vertically in the true part, continue in the linen that is now located in the intermediate position. This is illogical if the collar had been cut from a contemporary shirt. Embellishment: The pattern has squares within which different variations.
