Perseus flies over the sea on horseback and holds medusa's severed head by the snake hairs. In front of him is a sea monster, on the left in the background andromeda is chained to a rock. The mythological scene is framed with foliage. To the left of this, the Fame blows the trumpet, three putti make music on either side. At the bottom of the print is a three-line caption in French.
