The album contains various topics such as festivities on April 19, 1912 in Paramaribo, on the main square and along the waterfront. The album contains photographs of Uncle George Gonggrijp in Suriname who would gain great fame in the Dutch East Indies as "the raiser", a pseudonym that he used for his columns in the Bataviaasch Handelsblad. Also photos of the tennis club in Paramaribo, ships, family and friends, plantation Clevia and Morgenstond and of the city of Paramaribo. One of the photos shows Andries Boom with a photo camera in his hand.
