Photo album flood Paris and suburbs 1910, G. Dangereux, 1910 Canvas Print
Album with dark green cover with gold inscription. At the bottom right the name and address of the photographer: G. Dangereux 6. Rue aux Ours (Angle du 60. Bould. Sébastopol) PARIS (3rd). The back is reinforced on the inside with wood and metal. Metal pins hold the blades together. The corners of the cover on the front and back are made of leather. The bracts have a marble motif. On a total of 16 dark green sheets, 67 photos have been pasted, mostly a few small ones around a larger size. The last 6 sheets each contain only one photo. Each photo is pasted on a gold-colored sheet of paper, creating a border around the photo. The photographs cover the flooding of Paris and its suburbs in January 1910, when the Seine left its banks after abundant rainfall and public life was disrupted.
