Photo album with 21 sheets with a total of 105 photos. The album contains 102 cartes-de-visite and 3 cabinet photos in gold lines framed rectangular and oval passe-partouts. Not all passe-partouts in the album are filled. Pictured are portraits of young men, believed to be students. A large part of the photographs has a name written on the back, presumably of the person portrayed. The name of 11 of the people portrayed is known, including Arnold Cornelis Maas Geesteranus and Cornelis Hoogendijk. Most of the photographs were taken in Leiden by photographers Jan Goedeljee, A. Th. Baert, Antonius Joannes van der Stok and Hendrik Jonker. The other photos are manufactured in other places in the Netherlands. The photographer is anonymous of two photographs.
