Plate of porcelain, painted on the glaze in black and gold. On the flat a flower vase with a fruit basket on either side, above the vase a crowned cartouche decorated with two collapsed hands, flower branches, shell motifs and garlands with the monogram 'GB' and the initial 'A'; the wall with a spearhead-border; on the edge a band with flower and fruit branches. A chip in the edge. Old label on the underside with 'Comte de Mercy d'Argenteau/ Paris-Liège/ In 1776 under Louis XVI'. European performance in encre de Chine.
