Porcelain plate, painted on the glaze in blue, red, pink, green, yellow, black and gold. On the shelf a representation of the Nativity with the child in a manger, while Mary, Joseph and some shepherds look on; in the foreground a donkey and in the background two sheep; the edge with a decorative band in the style of the Viennese Du Paquier porcelain. Two chips in the rim. The performance is based on a print by Jan Luyken (1649-1712). European representation in enamel colours.
