Cartoon on a looter from the Aansprekersoproer in Amsterdam, 31 January-1 February 1696. The man stands with open mouth, knife in the right hand and cut out human heart in the left hand amid looted goods, in the background looting of houses on a canal. Part of a series of three (two of which are present) depictions of the looters. According to an old note, this would be Jan Bokzen (or Bokle), a sailor from Boston, caught in the looting of the Pinto House.
