Portrait of a Little Boy, Possibly Louis of Nassau, anonymous, 1604 Canvas Print

Portrait of a little boy, perhaps Lodewijk van Nassau (1602-65), later lord of Beverweerd, de Leck, Odijk and Lekkerkerk, phony son of Maurits, prince of Orange and Margaretha van Mechelen. Standing, at its best, a thistle finch on a string on the right hand and a sprig of cherries in the left hand. Around the shoulder a quadruple golden chain with a portrait medal of Maurice, beaten in honor of the prince in 1602 after the capture of Grave.
