The Prince of Orange is wounded during the Battle of Waterloo, June 18, 1815. Centrally the prince on horseback reaching for his shoulder, his staff rushes to the rescue. From the right comes a tarragon with the conquered French standard on which the names Austerlitz, Jena and Wagram. In the foreground on the left, a wounded Scottish soldier.
