Renovation of room 158 in 1930, 1930 Canvas Print

Mother (?) of F. Schmidt Degener poses at two ship's lanterns. Room 158 seen to the east. The walls are partly stripped of paintings, and partly still painted. The cross vault is white, the profiled natural stone ribs and keystone are painted in a tinted color. The instigations of the ribs are formed by consoles, which are decorated with faces. The door in the background gives access to the stairwell of tower I. The room is being redecorated here for the Royal Charles / De Ruyter collection.
