Renovation of room 167 in 1930, 1930 Canvas Print
Room 167 seen to the southeast. There is still a mosaic floor. The column is a copy of one of the columns in the St Lambertuskerk in Wouw (1414). The paintings on the south wall are copied from the Predikherenklooster in Maastricht. The vault paintings are derived from motifs of various churches (St Maartenskerk in Venlo, Jacobikerk in Utrecht, St Nicolaaskerk in Kampen and the parish church in Blitterwijk). The room has been prepared to be painted white; for the result see fig. 476.
